A NEW BEGINNING · BRISTOL, CONNECTICUT
From your first inquiry to homecoming
Breeders Valley is based in Bristol, Connecticut. Our adoption process starts with an individual puppy and a conversation about the home you can provide. We ask adopting families to commit to lifelong care, daily supervision, and a safe home.
1. Choose a puppy and ask questions
Browse Available Puppies, read the profiles, and note the puppy’s name. Contact us with your state, ZIP code, and questions. Confirm availability before reserving: adding a puppy to a cart does not hold it.
2. Review individual information
Ask about the puppy’s age, breed, current feeding routine, and individual health information. Tell us about your household, children, other pets, and plans for training. Visit Meet the Parents and ask which parents belong to your chosen puppy.
3. Confirm costs and written terms
The adoption fee is $800 per puppy unless an individual listing states otherwise. A $300 reservation deposit is required before arranging a meeting. Confirm the puppy and appointment before paying or travelling. Request written terms explaining how the deposit applies, the balance due, payment timing, cancellation, and refunds.
Each adopted puppy comes with a one-year Health Guarantee. Review the written guarantee, purchase policy, and deposit and refund information before adoption.
4. Agree on pickup or delivery
Nationwide delivery is available to all 50 states for $200 per order. The destination, transport arrangement, and timing must be confirmed before payment. Checkout does not promise an arrival date. Visits and pickup in Bristol are by prior arrangement; ask about pickup terms before paying. Read Shipping & Delivery Process and browse Delivery Areas.
5. Prepare your home
Choose a secure resting space, ask about the puppy’s current food, and plan who will be present when it arrives. Use New Puppy Expectations to plan supplies, a gentle introduction to the household, and the first routine.

Adoption Process FAQ
What should my first adoption inquiry include?
Send the chosen puppy’s name, your state and ZIP code, and the questions you need answered. Mention your household and care plans so the conversation can focus on that puppy’s fit and homecoming.
Which details should I have in writing before reserving?
Request the puppy’s identification, payment breakdown, how the reservation deposit applies, and cancellation and refund terms. Review the individual agreement and guarantee before sending payment.
Does placing a puppy in my shopping cart hold it for me?
A cart entry does not secure a reservation. Contact Breeders Valley to confirm availability and follow the agreed reservation steps for the selected puppy.
